1st Arno Cup 2020
The edition of the Arno Cup, organized by A.S.D. Canottieri Antoni, in collaboration with the Regional Committee, is an inter-regional long distance row challenge (4000 meters with a turning buoy at 2000 meters), 15 teams and 76 crews including students, cadets, boys, juniors, male and female seniors categories competed in the Arno river with Jole Lariana and Elba boats; valid for the national ranking of the Italian Fixed Seat Rowing Federation (F.I.C.S.F.) .The race resumes the tradition that already existed in the 90s, when the Arno Cup was held on the Arno but in a less central stretch of the river and over a longer distance. From this year the regatta was re-established and the competition was held in the city stretch from the Scalo dei Renaioli to the Ponte dell'Aurelia, gladdening the effort of the competitive gesture with unusual and suggestive views of the Lungarni of the city.
